Making the decision to take additional coursework through a formalized postbaccalaureate (postbacc) program to achieve your health professional goal is a huge step! Our founder, Sherise Hicks, spent several years as the director of a career-changer postbacc program, and is excited to help you determine if the postbacc pathway is the right one for you.
Through individualized advising, she’ll work with you to understand what postbacc programs are and how they might be a good option for you on your health professional journey. Whether you’ve decided later on in life that you now want to pursue a health profession, or if you need additional coursework to strengthen your existing science record, Prehealth Advising Unlimited can help!

Discussion of personal and academic strengths and challenges
Recommendations for strengthening application
Discussion about whether a postbacc program is suitable for your needs
Strategic planning for applying to postbacc programs
Unlimited advising hours during the application process, which includes:
Editing of completed personal statement with feedback (3 drafts)
Review of individual program essay responses with feedback (will review all essay responses for up to 3 institutions, 2 drafts each)
Review of postbacc program school list

General advising hours are a great option for those who have questions about a specific part of their prehealth portfolio and/or the application process. These advising hours are designed to help you gain clarity and understanding about areas of the prehealth process that you have questions about. These advising hours are not appropriate for receiving any editing services during the advising hour(s).
Rate:
$400 per hour
General advising hours are a great option for those who have questions about a specific part of their prehealth portfolio and/or the application process, but would like the opportunity to have more regular check-ins throughout. These advising hours are designed to help you gain clarity and understanding about areas of the prehealth process that you have questions about. These advising hours are not appropriate for receiving any editing services during the advising hour(s).
Rate:
$375 per hour
Postbacc and SMP personal statement reviews are available for those who wish to have a critical eye edit their completed personal statement - prior to submission. Feedback will be provided via email. If you wish to have a discussion about the edits made, please add advising hours.
Rate:
$225 per draft
Submit up to three (3) postbacc short essay responses that you would like feedback on. Each individual prompt and your associated essay to that prompt will be considered one response. Feedback will be provided via email. If you wish to have a conversation about your responses after receiving feedback, please add advising hours. If you would like assistance with brainstorming how to respond to a specific prompt(s), please add advising hours.
Rate:
$375 - includes another review of the same three (3) responses after you have made the suggested edits
This Postbacc and SMP applicant combo is best for those who would like a professional review of both their personal statement and several short essay responses. Submit three (3) postbacc short essay responses that you would like feedback on. Each individual prompt and your associated essay to that prompt will be considered one response. Feedback will be provided via email. If you wish to have a conversation about your responses after receiving feedback, please add advising hours. If you would like assistance with brainstorming how to respond to a specific prompt(s), please add advising hours.
Rate:
$725 - includes another review of your personal statement after you have made the suggested edits. Also includes another review of the same three (3) responses after you have made the suggested edits.
